    SPA Triple auto

How much value would this be if graded BGS 9.5?

I'm not sure if grading the card would affect the value of the card too much. The only way it would help the value is if it was graded a 9.5 with a 10 auto. My guess would be that it would bump the value $100 at most. If the card is graded less than that I don't see it helping the value and could possibly hurt the value. I could see the card pulling in $500 to $750. It's not a very low numbered card. It's a great triple auto, but being numbered /25 hurts the value. I don't see it pulling in over $1,000. There is currently a Howe, Lemieux, Gretz triple auto /25 on eBay right now for $1,099 BIN with Best Offer. Those other 2 signers are much more desirable than Kurri and Fuhr. My suggestion? Post the card on eBay with a $850 BIN along with Best Offer and see what kind of offers role in for the card. I'd take any kind of offer over $600. But that's just me.

Doubt it would have much affect on the value given the scarcity and the players. Grading usually only has a significant effect on rookie cards.

What the others have said, Grading this wouldn't serve much of a purpose.

Usually the only items that go up significantly when graded are rookies and vintage, anything else there is little to no value increase.

grading the auto's,wow. they'll grade anything to increase business. most of the players auto's today don't deserve to be graded.

    cheers mike
