Random thing that made me happy

Not really sportscard talk, but figured I wanted to post this.
I went to my cousin's house today - he's in his early 40s, I have only seen him a few times in the past 10 years, not sure why, our families were never close. He does work as a baseball photographer (you'd figure I would have made more of an effort to get to know him). I went up to his office, and he had pictures of all yankees players, Sports Illustrated and other magazine covers that he shot (including a sweet signed Arod cover) and a few 1991 Score cards that have his pictures on there. I also saw a picture of him and Vlad Guerrero - one of my favorite players - and complimented him on it. Turns out he and Vlad are friends!!! (my cousin's wife is Puerto Rican, and taught my cousin fluent Spanish, which he used to get to know Vlad). He printed me off a couple candid Vlad photos that I might get framed, and told me how nice of a guy he was. I mentioned it to his wife, and she goes "Vladimir!! I love him!!"
Not really sure the point of this, but it was really nice to see that one of my favorite players is a really good guy. Made me want to collect him even more.

    Thanks for reading this.

Only one scan really came out well. Not exactly candid, but it's a shot that I think is something different. He also gave me a shot he took of Diaz/Wright/Reyes at Shea. He knew I was a big Wright fan, and gave me an interesting photo.

Tell me about it...Their Xmas cards were pictures of their daughter holding up Jeter's jersey in front of his locker in the locker room. Last year's was her sitting on Jeter's lap. I didn't get one either year, but I saw them at their house.
