i bid and from 1 minute less i started refreshing the page, thought no one would bid, because the auction wasnt even advertised properly....and those dumb ™™™™™ auction snipers took it from me with 5 seconds left!!!! ppl have nothing else better to do then wait for 10 seconds left and then click that damn button

Actually, you are the only person to blame. You should have put in a higher maximum bid. Someone was willing to pay more then you and you lost.

By the way, if you were watching the auction then I guess you had "nothing else better to do then wait for 10 seconds left and then click that damn button". I quoted you there. You were refreshing the page until the end just like someone else was.

A lot of people use automated sniping programs so what I would suggest is just bid the amount you are willing to pay and if it goes over oh well. If you win great, you spent a price you felt comfortable with.

that's how auctions work. people try to outbid each other. not sure why you think sniping would be wrong.

When I bid on an auction I always make the bid an odd amount too. I do it becuase most people will bid an even amount, like $5.00 or $10.00. If I see a card I want & I'm willing to pay $6.00 for it, I'll go ahead and put $6.18 or $6.29 or anything that isn't a common bid ammount. Also, when I'm on ebay, I'm always bidding on items with a minute or less left. I do this because I'm looking for cards I like that are getting ready to end that are cheap.

If the card is not rare, there will be others on Ebay soon (maybe sooner than you think). If the card IS rare, then bid to win, baby!!! :)
