Question about shipping to Canada
Hey guys quick question, when you ship from US to Canada and have to fill out the customs form, do u put the value you sold the card for on the paper? I feel like putting $300 on the customs form would make someone more tempted to snatch something compared to putting $30. Am I paranoid or has anyone else thought about it?

Regardless of the value of the card I always put item description as "pictures" and value at $5.
I had 1 card stolen in the mail to Canada a couple years ago when I actually put hockey cards in the item description, since then I have started putting pictures and never had any problems what so ever.

Always state it as pictures or photos and mark do not bend on the package!

I state "Trading cards" and put a value somewhere under $15 no matter what's in there. That's Canada to US, though.

Always use the Word "Used" and never use the word "Hockey" when shipping to Canada.
I employ either Used Trade Cards or Used Photo Cards, and the value is always low.

To make a long story short, there is a very good chance the customs agent who handles the package isn't familiar with the true market value of trading cards and a value stated for a low amount (I use $10 myself) is safe and good to go! This is one of the very rare and few cases where a bit of dishonesty didn't hurt anybody... TRUE STORY!
