Good morning, let just say that Im not a collector or anything and so I really am not sure where to look for credible information on card collecting or the values associated with cards. I have searched the net for information on a card given to me a number of years ago by a relative and have found nothing about it. My question would be where do I find a data base that I can access without paying a charge or joinig for a fee? A one time lookup doesent seem to be worth a $10.00 charge for what is probably a mundane at best card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

great, well here goes, it's a RBI Shaquille Oneil rookie card. Theres a number 57 inside a baseball on the back,and the info of "Formerly LSU". Also on the back is the caption " No professional stats available". and a cartoon of all things. On the front is a pic of Shaq in his LSU #33 jersey with his hands on his hips. I dont know, maybe a pic? I am not sure if I am allowed to post pics or not. Thanks guys.

This eBay seller is selling 18 of the Shaq RBI rookie cards for $35. Based of off that Buy It Now, I would guess that the sell value is somewhere around $2 for that card.

Thanks for the info, collecting seems to be a pretty much full time deal, kind of interesting though. I'm grateful for all the insight, thanks again and enjoy the weekend........
