Another major cut multiple auto?

In light of the recent $85,000 sale of the quad cut auto I was wondering if this item has been pulled yet? It's supposed to be in the UD Hall of Fame product.

Yes it was... It was pulled by some guy in NJ.... Was all set to sell it on Ebay, the bids I believe got up to $150,000, but he pulled it because he wanted to make sure he got full value... Plus, he never redeemed it at the time of Becketts story on him... He was torn between redeeming just because then selling it or just selling the redemption outright...

This was a couple months ago.. I remember telling my mother about it, she thought 150,000 would have been good... She just doesn't understand.

I'd definitely sell it. I think it would sell for an amount that could make a major impact on my life and probably that of most collector's. To me there's a better place that kind of money could go instead of hanging on a wall or sitting in a safe. The way I look at it, I don't have so much money that I could have such a large portion of my worth tied up in a single asset in a very illiquid market.

Another reason to sell it now is that I think the price will only go down from here. What's to say that this year UD doesn't put out a similar redemption in its products? Then there'd be 2 of them instead of just 1.
