Amazing how that works out eh? Government helps rather than hinders and when they become productive members of society they do not begrudge contributing in the way of high personal taxes to ensure the benevolence can continue.

They won't do it in the US because Americans do not believe in that type of governance. I can't imagine YOU not having a problem with the concept when I read the constant barrage you post about government. Now I am to believe you would pay more in taxes to support your neighbors ability to go to school? Not likely.

I would be benefiting from it as well with the ability to go back to school without all the red tape, more college educated people starting more business, which in turn would be more jobs and a stronger economy. Again it would be nice if they would do that over here but it will never happen not because it wont work but because the powers that be are so very happy with all the wealth and all the control of the common man. What incentive would the have to give up their power.
