I know I have my Detroit Tigers autograph thread, but I felt like this deserved its own thread. Also, I know we have all moved on to the newest and greatest thing….2012 Allen & Ginter, but….

When 2012 Topps Tier One came out I just loved the look of the bat knob cards and also loved the fact that the bat knobs were actual game used knobs (at least we all think ). Well, I decided I had to get one. I knew I had stiff competition since they were all 1/1. Luckily, the Miguel Cabrera came up on eBay and I immediately made an offer of $450 and it was instantly accepted!! Here it is in all it’s glory………

then the Victor Martinez showed up on eBay, but it seemed a bit overpriced so I tried working with the seller off eBay. We went back and forth on a price, and then finally we worked out a deal for that one too!!!.......

It was quite an amazing mail week. I actually left for vacation before they came in, so I had to wait 2 weeks to even see them. My family picked them up for me at the post office and told me how good they look in person. The scans don’t do them justice! They are very nice additions to the pc. I don’t think I will ever be able to top this in my life. I will also be paying these off for the next 6 months +. It started with the Cabrera and then I just had to have all the Tigers in the set. Sorry for the long drawn out post. I am just excited and wanted to share. Thanks for looking and comments welcome!

Side note: the upper right corners look like they are damaged in the scans, but they are all just fine. I'm not sure why they scan like that.
