The trade up chasing my Eleanor

Just a quick note:
Also I dont want anyone to feel like I'm trying to cheat anyone out of their items I am happy to trade at book straight across or even down on book if it's something I think or know I can trade later maybe. So please dont feel like I'm trying to beat you on a deal I am happy to post becket value if you prefer to trade that way on a deal if I have one. I'm doing this just for fun nothing more.

The Idea

Ok so here's the deal I've read a few blogs of people trading up from cd's to house's and car's to jet liners.

So here is my Challenge I wanna try and trade up to a 1968 Topps Nolan Ryan Rookie you ask why a 1968 Ryan why not something bigger right? So the reason being is everyone of these i've ever bought/traded for or acquired in some other way has been faked or trimmed or ruined before i get it. So this is my Eleanor. So I figure this is bigger then a 1952 Mantle for me if I can make this work. I will post every trade right here I will be trading everywhere I can to make this happen. But I'm starting right here with this card:

The rules are simple I will trade till I reach the 1968 Ryan Rookie. I will trade for any sport as long as I feel it's a trade that will get me to my goal. Once I reach the goal I will donate half of the book value based on condition to a charity which I will let you my followers and traders decide. I will do no more then 3 cards in return for anyone unless it's a complete set.

I have started a blog below in my signature is a link for everyone to follow along in this journey if you wish. I really think this could be a lot of fun and who know's I may catch Elenaor.


One more thing if I get several offers for a card or item I will post them on my blog and here and let you help me decide the trade to make.

ganz1525- I'd like to get a little closer to bk then that the Reggie is $20 and the wright is only $12 as an unlisted star. I found this is the easiest way to try and balance trades then everyone feels it's fair. I notice you have a McGwire RC in your bucket marked $20 interested in trading it?
