Hi,

Anybody know if there will be a new Luxury Suite Panini product for this year ?

I wasn't able to find any confirmed info and their website does not list one.


It seemed like a good one, be a shame if they discontinued

Luxury suite will not be produced as a standalone set this year. Instead various luxury suite cards have been inserted into the bonus packs of rookie anthology.

Last years luxury suite was a complete bust. It was overpriced and there was little to no value per box hits.

I've read some reviews saying it was pretty good due to getting 8 'hits' per box.

But i was a little skeptical as there are still boxes available a whole year later. The price may be right though, as they seemed to be priced at ~$100 USD.

At around $100 it's not a bad buy at a all. You can't find 8 GU or Autos with the chance of a Hall, Subban or Seguin RPA for it. Collectibility wise, it's worth it. Resale wise... not so much unless you hit a big name player. The variety of cards though is insane. Primes, patches, sticks, jerseys etc.

At $100 it is a good buy, I remember when it was at $160. Horrible buy. I'd buy it at $100 though. Just for the variety of stuff you can get.
