How much would a small ding affect grading?

Im thinking about buying a card with a small ding but want to get it graded. 3 of the corners are fine as are the edged and surface. Does anyone think it would be better to send in to PSA rather then BGS? Any comments appreciated

Do you have a scan? And PSA would probably be better since one of the subgrades for BGS is corners.

i would go with PSA, but then again, why not wait and buy the same card with 4 nice corners? :)
