    Feedback frustration.

My frustration is when people don't leave me feedback on this site or on ebay when I have paid and completed the deal. I probably would have a lot more feedback on ebay if every seller and buyer left feedback. On this site I'd have a few more positive feedback but sometimes people don't complete the deal and leave feedback for it.

Also I'm sorry to any traders who in the past have messaged me about deals and I didn't get back to. It is frustrating when it happens to me so I know some people may be annoyed with me for not responding and I apologize for that.

I see where you're coming from, for sure, but at some point I think your reputation becomes pretty firm. I don't know what that number is, exactly, but if I'm 574 with 100% I hope I will be seen as equally trustworthy as if I had 575 with 100%.

Nope, nothing less than 575 will cut it with me. Seriously though RGM is right, if you are going to worry about feedback you will drive yourself crazy. Just do whatever you can to make your transactions first rate and feedback will come. I'm not sure what that number is either but for me it would be way less than 575. Something in the neighborhood of 25-50 with 100% is pretty firm to me. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with anyone with that rating. That is unless something came up that raised a red flag of course.

I don't understand people who don't leave feedback on forums as well. ESPECIALLY if you ask them to and they don't but you can clearly see they've logged in multiple times so they should and would have read it. Now on eBay, totally understandable. A lot of sellers don't leave feedback before receiving feedback from the buyer because in case something goes wrong, you don't want to have given a positive feedback to a would-be Jack@$$$ buyer. From a buyers view, some don't leave feedbacks because they don't want others to know who actually won that card(unless the seller left a feedback)

For ebay the issue is I get the cards and leave the sellers feedback. Then the sellers don't leave me feedback.

For this site the issue with the maybe 5 feedback I should have but don't is that with more feedback it increases your standing. Over 500 is HOFer status. Right now I'm only at Superstar status with 275 so the feedback I've not received would help a little. Definitely can message the people to see if they will complete the deal and leave feedback.

Just a little word of advice. Be careful about asking for feedback. Some people do not appreciate it. There may be a reason why someone doesn't leave feedback and if you press them for it they may leave you something a little less than you were expecting or hoping for. Say a guy doesn't like the way you packed his cards. It may be the way you've always done it and you may never have had a problem but it may be a pet peeve of the guy. Maybe he thinks you wrapped the thing in industrial strength military grade indestructible non-removable permanent tape (1 small strip of masking tape to everyone else) and he is irked to no end. Its not enough to complain about or post a bad review about but he decides not to leave feedback because that's just the kind of guy he is. Now you ask him for it and it sends him off the deep end. The next time you log in you see a negative feedback complaining about poor packaging and shipping methods and its a wonder the card got there at all. Are you still glad you pressed for the feedback. You might be able to smooth it over but it may be a hassle.

Of course all this is a worst case scenario but my point is that you have to be careful what you ask for. There are many reasons people don't leave feedback. Some people are just lazy or inconsiderate and some are forgetful. I realize that certain levels of feedback may carry additional perks but in the end it is not worth worrying about in my opinion. Like I said before, make your transaction the best they can be and the feedback will come.
