    How to get started?

    Hello,

my wife and I are basketball fans and I was hoping we could start collecting cards together.

however, I don't really know much about basketball cards. I know upper deck used have some of the most sought after product lines but since they lost their license i don't know if they are still any good.

can anyone recommend any product lines?

    regards,

I would wait a couple of weeks until nba hoops comes out and give them a try. Buy a blaster or 2 and see if you like them. They will be the least expensive of this seasons offerings. They should have lots of rookies as well as a chance to get autos in the box. You can also use the base cards for IP/TTM graphing.

I would go to a Card shop if you have any near by. or just search on Dave & Adams card world or any other online sportscard seller. You can find alot of good info on those sites about what typ of cards you can pull etc. Or check the Box/pack break sections on the forum. there's alot of people showing what they are breaking and what they are getting.
