Immortal Inks Price Evaluation?
Hello,
I still haven't decided if i will sell or keep my SPA 2011-2012 Immortal Inks Mario Lemieux card yet (The card looks so cool, hard to decide). I was just curious about what would be a proper price the card should go for?
I've seen a Cujo Immortal Inks sell for 205 on eBay so i have sort of a base line.
-please do not pm me with offers.

Don't set your base line according to what another card sells for in the first couple weeks.
If you are deciding to keep it, you ask yourself two questions. Why? and How long?
Cool to look at is personal taste. I am a big fan of the design while some might not be. Most cards are good to look at upon release as they are new and fresh, but couple weeks down the road when new products are released... not so much.
At present you might be able to get $200-250.
If you compare to the same set from 10-11, 6 months down the road, you might get anywhere from $110-180.
Hard to pull is one thing, same with being low numbered. At the end of the day it is still a Lemieux auto and people who just want his auto don't care about the numbering cause they can get it for $100 or less unless it was a designated SSP and none has been pulled. Over the course of the release there has been 4-5 pulled.

I would whole heartedly agree with the above.

Personally I don't really like the look of the sepia cards, but it is lemieux. If I pulled it I'd add it to my pc even though I don't collect him, just because of how good of a player he was, and it's his auto. If it's not hurting you financially to keep it, keep it. if the right offer comes along and you feel good about parting with it, let it go. but like yip said it's new, so if your going to sell it, and you want a premium for it, the time is now. otherwise keep it and enjoy the fact you have a lemieux auto :)
