8x10 Photos
I was wondering if anyone had experience with trying to print pictures and receiving a warning regarding the resolution? I am new to photo printing and wanted to see if this was something that really hurts the quality of the picture to the point of not getting it printed or if it is still worth printing.
Thanks for your help

It really depends on your printer. I have a high quality photo printer so my photos turn out very nice and very close to professional, but I know of people with no so great printers that have troubles. The one downside to any of the photos you print at home (from my experience) is that they scratch very easily, so you have to be extra careful with them. Here is an example of a dual photo I printed at home and turned out great:

And an indivual one, which usually turn out better:

I have had problems with smears and scratches in the past though, so make sure to be extra careful. I had a logo pic signed by most of the Gophers bball players, until one of the players got sweat on it after a pro am game and it smeared terribly. Haha Anyways I think it's worth it if you have a good printer. Can buy ink and paper, etc. in bulk and save lon buying indivual pics everytime you go to meet a new player, plus it's great for last minute signings and such.

if you want your 8x10 to look great..the dimensions of the photo have to be at least 800x1000. plus add in your own high quality photo paper and printer capabilities.
hope this helps
