    Cash or Store Credit?

    Hey,
I was just wondering what everyone's opinion was on this subject... Would you rather get cash for a card or get a higher amount in store credit to purchase other items?

If you're not leaving the hobby, Store Credit is king :)

I would say it depends on if he has nice singles for you to pick from.

$100 cash for a card is nice

$150 in store credit in wax for a card is not as nice

If you pick the store credit and break wax, you will most likely feel a little disappointed with what you actually get back

Never trade singles for wax IMO

I would take Store Credit but with two requirements:
    1) I got enough credit to buy a sealed box. I am wary that open boxes have been searched.
    2) The stores box prices are not jacked up too much. Otherwise take the cash and buy a box on-line.

Store credit is only good if that store has reasonable prices. Ask yourself why they want to give you more in store credit than in cash. They know that the prices are higher and that they aren't losing much. If you are happy with the cash offer I would take that.

Guess the answer depends on how much store credit compared to cash and how reasonable the prices at the store are.

I'd go cash unless you bust stuff on a normal basis. I rarely get boxes so I would hate myself if I ddin't take the cash to get PC items and got a crappy box instead with no name hits

If they have cheap prices on boxes/singles and you like to bust wax, Store Credit. If not, cash. It depends on how big of a difference though!
