    A Discussion About the National Debt

    So, we are going to have a deficit of $1.2 trillion for 2012. Anyone remember when President Obama promised to cut the deficit in half in his first term? He's increased it by 50%.

    Does the bad economy have something to do with it? Yes, but if you look at Obama's budgets he's never even tried to reduce the debt. He doesn't cut spending. Also, he had complete control of congress for 2 years and could have made some effort.

    His new "tax the rich' campaign is estimated to pay off 9 days of the national debt.
