    question about graded cards

how much, on average, does a BGS 8.5 with an auto of 10 increase the value of a card. maybe 20-25%? i received a card today in the mail and the case is cracked. i'm trying to decide whether to try to get my money back or just bust it out of the case since i hate graded cards anyway. i figure if there's not much difference between a nongraded card and a beckett 8.5 then i'll just bust it out.

if you check in beckett most of the time unless condition sensitive card or older cards

    8.5 equals book value
