The Silvers were in both retail/hobby boxes... the Black's #/100 were hobby only. Everything else was available in retail, but with at a much lower odds of pulling them.

I was building this out after my daughter was born, but I didn't finish it. Here is an article on some of the numbers you'd need to pull if you wanted to build a master set.

Thanks for the info! Not looking to build the set, but I will keep some of the better cards I get. Are you still after some of these? Maybe I can help if you are, it would look cool as a finished product.

Thanks for the info! I guess there is still a lot of cool stuff to be pulled from 07-08 OPC even if it's retail. A Silver Rookie would be cool, I'm guessing those are 1:14 as well.

Yes, a silver RC would be nice, the big players go for a decent price. The odds for RC's would be lower though since the RC set is lower. Probably 1:60. OPC is a very fun break. I wish my LCS didn't have packs for $2.50 a piece.

In that case, I guess if I can pull a Toews, Kane or Price Silver then I just made my money back and more. My Toys R Us has these along with a bunch of lower end packs (aka Victory) for $1 each and this product is realistically the only product that you can buy there that has cards that are actually worth something. My only complaint is that the base cards went for being laminated to being cardboard, since these packs are from a place like TRU, I could easily tell that some of the packs there were pack searched since a few of them were actually OPENED and some of the packs I bought the base cards were all damaged. Not a great thing there, but I guess if the hit of the pack is in good condition, then it's all good.
