    Trade problem!!!!!!1

So, say me and so-and-so go into a trade on here. I send the $ paypal, and I send the cards via snail mail. He recieves BOTH.

I recieve NOTHING. Now, Basically, its my word vs. his, right? What happens when either 1. One persons side of the trade gets lost in the mail. or 2. One person does not send, but says they sent?

Does that make sense? Thanks for any help...

if you didn't use dc, then yes he can say whatever he wants pretty much. you're responsible for proving that you sent your end.

If you sent via Paypal, you have that receipt. You have that proof.

Send a mod a pm or report the trade in the trade manager.

    Touche.

    Little more info...

I sent 12$ via paypal right before I became a member (I was actually helping him out, because he needed the $ soon) then he had not sent for a couple of weeks, and I asked him about it, he said he got the cards back, because of wrong postage or something. At that time he had something else I wanted, so we set up a trade in trade manager for me to send an extra amount of $ (not much) and some cards. He said he would send them all at the same time.

Im thinking that the trade must have been over 30 days, because it is NOT in trade manager...

I do have the paypal submission though...

This extra info helps, since you said in the first post you sent money paypal AND you sent cards, I was trying to figure out what you were supposed to get on your end. I would call paypal, you can do a chargeback against the person if you used a credit card payment. While paypal is more keen to helping you if you did the deal on eBay, they're usualy not totally lacking in customer service if you got screwed. Their toll free number is 1-888-221-1161 (yes.. this number is public, unlike eBay's toll free for 3k a month power sellers)

The trade is still in your trade manager, it's just not on the main page after 30 days. After going to the trade manager, look to the left, click "list trades", then you can use the drop down menu from the top right corner and choose the status of your trade (probably "confirmed". Once you find it, just click the trade number & then you can put the trade in dispute.
