super all star game
I dont know about anyone here, but how would you feel about this. The NHL all stars vs the KHL all stars in a super all star game? hell id take the winner of the cup takes on the KHL all stars. do a best of 5 or 7, sell some tickets in both stages, and mega perks for the fans of both leagues. that would be pretty awesome if you ask me.

yes, lets bring this back. World cup doesnt get as much hype anymore, and players wont go even if they aren't playing. and the olymipcs is different, repping your home country. the super series would be their best "team" vs the NHL's best "teams". regardless of nationality. Would be awesome

NHL All Stars vs KHL All Stars? Not trying to rain on your parade, but I can't imagine this would be particularly entertaining, or something the players would even want to do.
To start with, the talent level would be so lopsided, I can't imagine any games being very close. On top of that - traveling to Russia to play some games there (along with some over here) seems like it's a ton of travel, during training camp (not sure when else you'd do this) and becuase it'd an all-star team, players arn't even playing with their own teams, working with upcoming linemates, etc.
If the Russians wanted to do something similar to the Super Series from the late 80s / early 90s.... and sent an all star team over here in the fall, to play against NHL club teams during the pre-season, that's something that I think NHLers could live with, and would be fun to watch.
I just don't see the fun in watching a bunch of 8-2 hockey games - and let's be honest..... that's how those games would go. This isn't Russia from the 1970s or 1980s, when their best players were playing for the Central Red Army.... the bulk of Russia's star talent would be on the NHL side, not the KHL.
