Yeah. He retired recently cause I guess there was still some tingling in his shoulder after only a few games into his comeback. He didn't want to have to have surgery again on it, and wanted to be able to play catch with his kids. From what I have read though, he does plan to be involved in baseball. I guess he believes in what the Royals have and are doing, and wants to be a part of that team in some way when they get things turned around.
