Anyone check out SCN?

Anyone checkout sportscollectors.net (SCN) I have been collecting TTM autos since 1987 and it is the best TTM auto website I have ever seen. great database, great group of knowledgeable people and lot of great ttm auto trading. I highly recommend checking it out.

It's definitely a helpful site. Lots of addresses and the sheer volume of TTM posts makes it a great tool. My collection wouldn't be the same without SCN.

That said, I don't find the message boards over there to be particularly helpful or all that friendly. The members over here all seem to have a much more helpful quality to them. I think both sites complement each other well.

i agree both sites here and there complement very,very well. just in the 2-3 weeks i have been there on scn, my collection has grown already with some autos that i have been looking for, for years. just traded right now for a nice vintage dodgers auto i needed and ive already sold a ton of my extra autos and used that money on the site to buy other autos i really needed. so far it is a 5 star site that needs to at least be checked out by everyone. this site is good, but your collection will grow like mine has in 3 weeks once you go over to scn. just more members that all know a lot about ttm autos and autos in general.it is very,very active over there. which is what i like. everyone has been so helpful over there with me as well. i just put a post over there with what im looking for and within 5 minutes i have a dozens messages in my inbox asking top help me

It is a very reasonable priced site and very active. The free features are very good as well. One of my favs as well.

i think you will really love it. i dont believe in paying to be a member of a site, BUT this site (SCN) changed my mine. its simply the best money (I believe its $14.00) a year) i have ever spent on my hobby. I continue to pick up autographs via trade and sale on a daily basis and also selling off some of my doubles to buy hard to find autos i have been looking for years for. i decided to just try it for 1 year and pay the fee for 1 year to see if i like it. if i didnt like it, i simply cancel my membership there and be done with it. 2-3 weeks into it, im sold on the site and will for sure renew my membership there next year!, its THAT good of a site for our ttm collectors. the ttm database, collectors advice(on the message boards) are all top notch and the very best in our ttm hobby. let me know how you like it. i think everyone should at least take a look at it and check it out. SCN is my new "home" as I spend 90% of my time on those boards.

thats strange as i have made about 20 trades/buys there the past 2-3 weeks and so far 12 have had no problems at all, the other 8 i just made the past couple days, so those should be arriving within the next 3-4 days. so for me, personally, i have had not a single problem. but of course, if i do, i will certainly post it here to let you guys know. as i dont tolerate being ripped off (as im sure most people dont) i will for sure post any bad experiences here, but so far (knock on wood) it has been good. i usually check feedback scores before my trades/purchases. i think what keeps most people on check there is that they have a section on their message boards where people can call other people out in public to warn other members if someone tries to screw you. i always check that to first to see if anyone i am dealing with is shady.at one time i was on 6-7 different trading sites and i have seen problem traders/sellers on each site (including this one)
