Eric Hosmer and SS ROMLB- ?!
I got Hosmer last week, and he signed the SS for me. However after I got him I realized there was a mark along the stitches, by the sweet spot.
I thought he just messed up with the pen, and marked my ball. However my buddy next to me also got him on the SS, and got that exact same hash mark by the stitches. is he doing? I don't sell so that's not the issue, but it's REALLY annoying for OCD-autograph collectors. Here's a pic- the hash mark is in the upper right corner.

Wonder if he's trying to mark them to track 'em on eBay...only suggestion I have.
Out of curiosity, why don't you update your thread anymore? I miss reading your updates.

I have never seen that before. I wonder if he just doesn't want to take the time to personalize or if he is doing that hash mark in the stitching to make it harder to take off with a magic eraser like people do with personalizations.

I got him earlier in the season while in Baltimore. I'll have to look at the ball and see if I have the same mark.
Have you guys gotten him before?

I think it is just part of his sig. If you look at the top of his "H" you can almost track it as he goes across from left to right.

I got him a few years ago when he was in Wilmington and his sig on Cyberer's ball looks basically the same as mine, except for maybe a little more rushed. I don't think the hash is a part of the signature

on a related note, is there any way to remove that? I'm afraid to use an eraser on the seams.
