    Without a doubt in my mind he did that to see if you would sell on eBay. A lot of young players are all over social media and have internet access very easy, so maybe he thought you were a dealer and marked the ball to see if it would pop up on ebay. I do believe players check ebay from time to time to see if people sell their stuff. Cliff Lee even made a comment about it.

    Personally though, in my opinion I don't think it's a big deal. I wouldn't mind if that happen to me, because I would be happy the player SS it instead of side-paneling it.
