price is my biggest complaint. the cards them selves look awesome. the cut autos are a joke. the numbering is weird. shirt cards are 100 and then 80... what's the freaking difference. then the shirts get more limited but 100 then 80, not much of a difference to me.

I was taking a look to see any 1/1 cut signatures from this product. Tristar should be ashamed of themselves with this one. They just cut up a regular base of Curtis Granderson from their own product. At least they could do was buy a different card with his autograph on it.

Looks like the latest money grab is buying other peoples product and selling it under your own brand for inflated prices. Give it some lame title like "Best of" or "History of" and off you go.

You could buy just about any single you want for the price of a box except for a few, i've always hated cut auto's unless there like checks or something of that nature. other than being cheap the only real reason to release a cut is if the person is deceased.

I think one of the coolest things about this set is the inscriptions. The "TNA 10" is cool and with so much hate they are going to drop in price soon making it easier to get the sets.

The cut autos are not as cool as I had expected. I mean it's neat they had those people on their show at one time or another but on card would have been amazing instead of the cuts. Still want the Brooke Hogan though, lol.

finally decided to check a box out. overall it was just the typical tna box break, just with a different art style. the numbering is very weird. and i think they made them a lil too glossy imo. its more less the same same tna stuff thats always released, just repackaged with crappy cut sigs.

this should really be a 50.00 product. no matter how limited it is.

also since someone mentioned the weird numbering, whats even stranger is they produced more #d cards then they did actual #d boxes.

that bein said...is it a rip off? the cut autos are redundant. so from that stand point, yes. however, even if you did pull one of these travesties you would prolly make your money back, or close to it, by re-selling it. the numbering is dumb, but maybe they were just trying to change it up a bit. the auto cards look great but its mostly b and c star autos with some of the bigger tna names thrown in every once in awhile.

I really don't get the hatred of the cut autos. The look is crappy, yes. But they are chase cards. From a collecting standpoint, I think they are great. It's the fun of building a set where no card is numbered to more than 5, in an incredibly limited wrestling release. I don't mean to be a Tristar cheerleader, but trying to put the set together off eBay has been a lot of fun.

well I did my arse in on another hogan auto.........still dont like those cuts though. But hey like someone mentioned it doesnt matter what they look like its what they sell at, and they WILL sell when numbered /5 & /1.

I would also like to offer my opinion on the TriStar TENacious cut signature trading cards. I love adding cut signatures to my private collection. However, the cut signatures in this release are awful. Now, I do not believe that cut signatures should only be released for deceased individuals. There are some really nice cut signatures of living individuals on the market. There are cut signatures of signed baseballs, gloves, footballs, as well as ring mats. I know everyone wants a HHH Off The Mat autograph? There is even a Bettie Page 1/1 cut signature that was cut from an 8x10 photograph floating around on the secondary market that I have been dying to add to my PC. But, TriStar blew it in my opinion. If they were too cheap to bring the people in for signings they could have at the least purchased some nice items off of the secondary market. They could have made a Curtis Granderson cut autograph using a signature cut from a signed baseball, and used various other items for the other individuals. I do not think the idea itself was bad, but the execution was awful.
