Need a Habs specialist
Hi community
I have a question regarding the 1986-87 and the 1987-88 Canadiens Postcards. What´s the main difference between this two sets? I have scanned the front and the back from the postcards I own.

I noticed that the shadows of the player and the stick are different on both postcards but I don´t thinks that´s the reason. The Beckett OPG states that the measurement from the 1986-87 and 1987-88 postcards is a little bit different. This two have the same measurement. I also have contacted Erle of canadiensmemorabilia.com but haven´t got an answer yet.
Here you can find the comments in the Beckett OPG:

Thanks in advance for your input.

The card on the right. Sergio is standing lower in the card frame than he is on the left. Both player shadows appear to be the same with the stick shadow differing from one to the other.
Could be from different printing type-sets would be my guess, but intended to be the same.
Take measurement from the top of his head or the bottom of each stick to see if there is a difference like I mentioned. if there is a difference that would explain Type-set subtleties on each card, but would still not account for one stick shadow being longer than the other.

Thanks for the information. The measurement from his head and the bottom is different on both cards but I still think that both cards are from the same set. If someone has another explanation plmk.
