Those are really nice! My main concern are the authenticity of the patches. If u look at the one I posted the gray stripe is on the outside of the stitching. Never seen that on Cowboys uni. I'll post another Sportkings patch I have that I've never seen before later when I get to my computer. Not saying they're fake... just a concern. Kinda like our guy Dez's auto...

I know Dr. Price has the best reputation in the industry when it comes to authentic, game-used memorabilia. However, that doesn't mean he's perfect as mistakes can, will and do happen.

I haven't done any research on Dr. Price and his ventures. Not sure if he is personally involved in the process of buying the jerseys he claims to be authentic. In no way am I trying to bash the company, or putting down your preference of cards to collect. The evolution of our passion has had us all question the authenticity of certain items we own from time to time. This is just one concern of mine. I'm now being more cautious in obtaining cards with jerseys in them because it has become the norm for companies to put "event worn" or "Not from any particular game, event, or season" items in their cards. An authentic Game Used swatch is coveted and held in higher regard than the previous mentioned items. Because I super-collect Irvin I had to get the card pictured. I actually traded a Dez Bryant Auto/JSY recently because the auto is one of the ones people are now saying is not his. I did research on the issue and am in the majority thinking that in fact he did have someone else sign some of his stuff. Perhaps I should do the same for Sportkings, but I will still buy or trade for a Sportking card of Irvin I need for my collection because he is, in my opinion, the best WR and team mate the Cowboys ever had... except when he needs his hair cut...
Here is that other card I have... I think the patch is from the 75th Anniversary patches every team wore throughout the 1994 season. It's numbered 1/10. I have never seen another Cowboys card with part of this patch in it. And if they do exist I would assume the big companies would be able to purchase them before Sportkings just because they probably have more money to shell out for them. But, again, I have not done research on this. It has Irvin pictured and it's in Beckett, and it's one of my favorite cards!

You are correct...that piece came from the 75 Anniversary logo on a game-used Michael Irvin jersey. Here are two of his gold cards I have #9 and 10/10. Both of my pieces came from the same patch yours did. On the bottom, right-hand side of my NFL logo piece, you can see a touch of purple just like the 75th Anniversary patch has. I have also included a Steve Young patch to more easily show how these pieces came from a patch.

Dr. Price has the best reputation in the business in terms of quality, authentic game-used memorabilia. He even puts some of his better pieces on display for all to see at the Spring and Fall Expos in Canada. I don't think anyone else does that.







Rest assured, your Irvin memorabilia pieces from Sportkings are as authentic and game-used as they come.

Phenomenal mail day today!!! My boy up in Omaha really hooked me up as usual! My favorites are the Ultimate 6 w/2 of my all-time favorite players on it, the Irvin/Dorsett SportKings ser# 2/10 and the Ware ser# 8/10.

I primarily collect Sportkings. Because I'm a master set builder, at this time, I'm not interested in parting with any of the SK cards.
