Id say its real. I bought a pack of like SPX guaranteed an auto once and I got it. Its defintely alot though. Most of those auto patches are going pretty cheap right now, besides the big names. So thats what hes figuring is a junky player inside. But im sure it would be easy to feel or weigh to find a patch inside.

well i was thinking of buying a box but if i could win one of these for like $60-$70 then why buy a box for $100-$130 ya know. because these are what everyone is hoping to get when they buy these boxes.

Last year's SPA, there was a way to read the serial numbers to tell if it had an Auto/Patch in it. That's most likely what these people have done. I think it's real.

Of course he has good feedback, because there IS an auto card, it will just be a crappy one. PLEASE TRUST ME!!!

These people buy boxes, sell the good stuff, and then re-seal the crap ones, so that some knuckle head will buy it for $50-80 bucks, when they wouldn't sell for over $30 normally. I promise you, this card will be like a Pac-man Jones/Lefors/C. Rogers type of player, who sell for $18-25!
I've seen many guys that claim that they have sold Hot packs that had "Jordan" or Lebron" auto's ect., and they show the feedback........but most likely it's ther other account, or buddies account throwing out this bogus info. I have gotten "hot packs" in the past, I too fell for it, and they are all crap. Some people don't even get a sealing machine, they just frikan super glue the packs back together, it's pretty sad.
But go ahead and buy it, if you really want to throw away your $$. Just think about it....who in there right mind, if they KNEW there was an auto patch inside, would take the chance of possibly selling a nice high end card (Caddy, R. Brown etc.) for $50, when they sell for $160-400, or maybe even a 1/1 patch that sell for much more???? Nobody!!

My advice, buy a box, from a good seller, or an online store like shnabbles (so you don't get a searched box), or just buy 1 or 2 singles off ebay.

irish while i agree with the fact that you should buy a whole box, they may not necessarily open the packs. i watched a guy at target yesterday where i live buy 9 packs of cards, and he had a method in which he was able to not only find jerseys, but autographs in certain products as well. i personally didnt like the idea, and dont want to know how its done, just saying that it can be done. its also not the first time i watched someone do this, but this time i actually watched him open each pack afterwards, and sure enough each on was a hit.

like i said, i personally dont approve of these methods and think its wrong, just pointing out something that i saw. i really think the companies need to find a better way to hide these cards in the packs, so this can be stopped altogether, but it doesn't seem like they care really. all they want to do is sell a product by any means necessary. my hobby shop now basically only sells by the box because people were doing this in his store. but im not going to rant, i buy boxes and boxes only, just because of this.

SPA is harder to "feel" this year. I bought a box and tried to tell if it was like last year. It is much more difficult. If you have a scale though, it's probably very easy. You could feel the patches last year, which is one of the reasons you see a lot of SPA patches with damage to the foil around the patch, because it was "crushed" when people were feeling the packs. I don't know if the same thing holds this year in regards to the even/odd boxes having the patches. The serial numbers don't tell you anything, unless you have opened one box already..as each case is different.

What Insane Irish said is absolutely correct. These guys are resealing packs. Sure, there may be the occassional guy that just weighs or pack feels but over half are just reseals.
