Ha, ive been accused of being a searcher before too, which is understandable when you pull $750 worth of cards in two packs, within a two week span.
But we retail buyers know that we have extreme highs, followed by extreme lows, atleast I do.
Speaking of which I think Im about do for an extreme high(wink wink).

Good luck, you deserve it as you didn't get the luck everyone else is having with those olympic blasters, wish I had a surefire product I could suggest but everytime I suggest something for someone else the odds don't hold up.

You know steve, it hadn't crossed my mind until you mentioned it. But, why would you be buying non "hot" packs as part of your "hot" pack break? Doesn't jive. I know you can just be suckered with a fit of dumb luck. I've reached my hand into a fresh box of cards and randomly pulled out one of the hits. Other times you just pull a redemption.

And still other times, you open so many retail packs of 2011 Allen and Ginter because you were hopelessly addicted to the stuff because it was absolutely awesome you can tell if there are extra minis, missing cards, extra cards, the coupon card, the ginter code cards (the inserts, not the parallels), and yes, even the hits. Doesn't mean I rifle through the packs at the store! Just grab a blaster or two and run.

The previous poster is absolutely right, you get on retail highs and then there are the undeniable awful never-ending doldrums of the retail lows. Which is about 99% of the time for most of us, it seems like maybe 5% of the time for steve. But then again I think he's an EMT that saves people's lives, so it's probably karma or something like that.

Great break and thanks for sharing with us as always! Also keep an eye out for a package heading your way, work has finally gotten one notch below mind-bogglingly crazy so I might get it out this week. So many packages to mail...

I've been collecting forever, and with that comes the experience of knowing what to buy and what to stay away from,if I listed all the garbage I got from some of the products I bought without doing research you would be saying geez this guys luck sucks.I do have better luck than most with retail but that is because without any hobby shops that aren't extremely overpriced it's all I have to buy except for the once in a blue moon online order when my wife is feeling generous. One day when I'm extremely bored I'll post the worst of spuds breaks and then you can see that my luck averagesout, can you say 8 topps 2011 update blasters without a single Mike Trout.

by the way I have a 2012 platinum die-cut, and a ruby of cano I'll be sending your way soon, take care buddy.

Yeah Ive never been a fan of Topps chrome, too many scrub RC autos, and not enough veteran hits, although im loving the die-cuts in this years chrome.
