Do people do team searches on eBay?
When I list something on eBay, I try to keep the title short and to the point. Player / Description of card / Ser # if any.
I see many eBay listings where people include team names, HOF, "traded!" and many other things.
I recently saw a gretzky card where the title said: Awesome Gretzky {name of card} OILERS KINGS BLUES NYR HOF PHX
Does that really help the listing? Do people do searches for "bruins" or "HOF", etc? Or is it better to keep the listing simple?Hidden Content

Beleive it or not they do. The best rule of searching on ebay (without looking for one certain item) is a vague search such as "gretzky kings" so you get all of his kings items that are listed that way. Without that it would give you 50 pages of random stuff.

I occasionally do a search for "Blues" or "St. Louis Blues". I don't think it's necessary to put the team in the title, unless you just have some extra characters to use.

The funniest things I see in titles are "LOOK" or "WOW"
I know we all search those 2 keywords on ebay =S

I am a Rangers team collector, so I do team search a lot on E-Bay. I think the team name is not necessarily needed in the title, because if it is in the description of the card, I can still find it with a team search.
