I've heard a couple of people mention getting them in today, so I figured this was just a matter of time.

I called my LCS earlier and the owner said Prime is in. Not sure if it's delayed elsewhere?

They'll be people posting case breaks tonight on this forum I'm sure. Sucks that the US opens first, as we all know first up on ebay wins.

Why was the release date pushed back to Friday if people have it in today? That's weird.

Habitforming - Yes, as far as I knew they pushed it back until Friday which is why I was pleasantly surprised to find that it arrived today.
jonpop - I'll be one of them! Going to pick up my case after I get off work :)

In order for all hobby shops to get it on Friday, Panini actually has to ship the product out a couple days early to the distributors.
The distributors then have to figure out when to ship it so that the dealers get it in time for Friday.
Sometimes the mail is a little fast and the dealers get it earlier than the release date. They are supposed to wait on it and sell it on the official release date, but as far as I can tell there aren't any real consequences if they don't.
Long story short, I wouldn't exactly blame Panini for this.
Cheers,

100% agree with this.
You can't blame Panini for policies such as these.
They set a standard on when things should be released, but after the product is out of their hands, they can't really control when someone actually breaks it.
