How hard core are you planning on going?

Money wise Duchene will be the most affordable.

Hobby wise, Couturier will be most collected but will probably be the most expensive out of the 3 in the long run.

Blake Wheeler...a blossoming power forward that will blow the other 3 away or I will eat my hat! :)

Thanks Yip...well I won't be a super collector or anythign, but I will try to get all rooks, inserts/parallels, autos, #d & memorabilia. I will skip all the 1/1s unless it's not crazy money (which I doubt)

Mooneyes I'll leave Wheeler all to you...I'm nice like that

I'm gonna say Duchene as well, the Avs should be back to ther glory days in 2-3 years, jump on the bandwagon now!

Personally, I went with Steve Downie, he can score AND punch :) And for some reason I own a Cup ARP, so it was easy to make that choice..........

Couturier is the most collected, Landeskog is the most expensive, if Duchene rebounds you could have a very good PC collection because his cards are cheap right now.

Breakdown of how I see it:

    Patch Uniqueness (better logos, etc):
    1. Landeskog/Duchene
    3. Cooter

    Auto:
    1. Cooter
    2. Landeskog (runs off a lot of stickers)
    3. Duchene

    Cost (cheapest-most expensive):
    1. Cooter
    2. Duchene
    3. Landeskog

Remember, if cost comes in to a factor, both Duchene and Landeskog will have Cup RPAs /99, whereas idk about Cooter if he will or not.

    Other Stuff:
-Duchene has no Panini Rookie Year Stuff, therefore less cards to chase. He still gets a couple cards a product or so too.
-Cooter: the least likely to have stuff in future years between him and and Landeskog. Have both Dominion (/99) and Cup RPAs
-Landeskog: R.O.Y, so you can collect a trophy-winning player. Has Cup and Dominion /99. Redemptions are a risk with UD

Overall, I'd rank them as follows:
    1. Landeskog: Love the player, the auto, the uniqueness of the patches and the fact that you can get insane patches from him. He has both Dominion and Cup RPAs (I love the Dominion design), along with a Silhouette (another one of my favourite cards) and the Prime Rookies which look insane! He has the highest ceiling IMO. May be a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for (right now at least)
    2. Cooter: Once again, big fan of his auto, he's cheaper, has the same type of cards that Landeskog has, but doesn't have the same amount of WOW factor in the patches (to me at least)
    3. Duchene: The cheapest of the 3 and quite possibly the easiest to collect out of the 3 mainly because he doesn't seem to have as big of a following. However, he doesn't have a Dominion RPA, which is possibly my favourite card. He does have a Silhouette as well, and only 1 version /25. Aside from 2009/10 OPCP, I'm not a huge fan of the design in 09/10 UD products. That being said, he doesn't have as many rookie cards to chase.

Good luck with whomever you choose!

Wow!! Thanks so much for the info flopfish...i think Duchene would be a good pick since he's cards are low ATM and as such i can grab them on the cheap.

    Landeskog

I have something of all of them, LMK.
