Silver Deco or Silver SRX on Football Mini?

I am going to the Dawkins auto thing @ sugarhouse and am going to get him on a dark-green eagles mini. In the past I used a brand new silver SRX on football minis, but lately I've switched to decos for other things (jerseys, dark photos, etc). Which are better?

I prefer Decos every day of the week, as long as its a sit-down event where the person would take their time with it. Unless its that kind of setting, I'd go with the SRX.

I like the fine point decos for minis, especially if they have a decent graph

Personally I like the Elementz SILVER........real crisp nice sig.......but these need a ton of time to dry and the marker isn't very good for a lengthy period of time.....but at 2 for $1.00 I don't care.

the deco doesn't have any trouble gripping the slippery surface of the mini? do I have to prep it? That's my worry.
