Nice hit on that Price! One sold in the three figures recently.

They're nifty looking cards but the facsimile autos look a bit cheesy, especially for Price himself. He hasn't signed a card like that since he was 18 years old.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

it'll be interesting to see what the Gretzky fetches on the market, I bet it sells for more then some of his cards with real autos'.

I think one reason they are going so high is that bidders think the are real autos not facsimiles and some sellers are listing them as real autos.

This is likely why Upper Deck had to release a statement about the cards so that collectors aren't confused. The problem is not everyone will see their announcement.

I was thinking the same thing. I saw a bunch of Lundqvists listed as Autos. I was interested in getting one, but now that I know they are facsimiles, I am not nearly as interested.

Pulled a Sharp on Monday...at first thought it was some random insert worth a buck or two...glad I did my research later that day! It's worth $40+! One per 30 boxes!
