    I agree...most of the key points are posted above. Here are mine (some repeats)

    no reserves
    great pics
    great description but picts will take care of most of that
    start your item off low to entice bidders.
    keep shipping low. if you have to inflate shipping to help up your sell prices you need to buy cheaper. :)

    as far as ending times, I'm of the philosophy that if the item is wanted, people will find it. I know some people say that certain days are best, but I've had luck ending around lunch (central) as well as saturday evenings. Never end on holidays.

    Thanks for all the advice. I put my first auction up last night. I started small (Topps Roethlisberger RC) and I'll see what happens.
