What should I do??

Hi guys,


Back in 08-09, I redeemed the Doug Gilmour / Theo Fleury dual auto shield and after 3+ years of wait, I was told that the card would not be produced.


UD sent me this card for replacement:
08-09 Guy Lafleur / Frank Mahovlich dual auto shield


The problem is, the shield for Frank Mahovlich was only event used, so I'm not too happy about it and asked UD to provide me with a list for another replacement.


After near six months of negotiations, finally they have come up with a list:


UD Black - Trophy Cuts - Clarence Campbell/Mike Modano 1 of 1


with either: 11/12 Ultimate UDJ-GL Gretzky/Lemieux #/5 OR 10/11 The Cup CE3-CPT Gretzky/Lemieux/Yzerman #/15


What do you guys think?

Good Deal.

Shields are overrated junk. They can take a Miro Satan Shield stick it on a Sid Card and number it to # 1/1 who the hell is going to know?

I think numbering a Gretz/Mario /5 would place more value than adding Yzerman with a /15, but I've been wrong before.

I'm thinking The Cup CE3-CPT Gretzky/Lemieux/Yzerman #/15. But I am a Yzerman fan.

As a Habs fan I'd take the retired legends dual shield, but hey, that's not everybody's bag. LOL

I'd be more repulsed by the Campbell than anything though. Stupid bugger did all he could to ruin the Habs in '55.

Also, talk to FlyerGuy22 about how much fun it can be dealing with shield replacements. :)

I am glad you asked for a replacement for the retired Habs, nobody in their right mind would want that card... (Right Richard?)

As for them offering the Campbell, I would love that card after all he did all he could to ruin the Habs in '55.

I would also go for the duo as it is in actuality the Duo Patches and Autos... versus a triple Enshrinements /15

Which player wouldn't sign? Did they mention that? Id ask for the dual shield card unsigned as well. What are they gonna do with it anyways?
