Victory Insert Sets - Value?
I've got the 08-09 Victory Game Breakers and Stars of the Game subsets. I think I also have the 1-250 base & RC set somewhere.
Thinking of dumping it on the Bay but really no idea what to list it as. I don't want to break up the set to sell the stars as then I'd just be stuck with Michael Ryder and Niklas Backstrom inserts.
Any thoughts as to what would be a good number? I suppose there's always the pick a number and go BIN/OBO approach.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I'll take them if you can add something else to ease the pain of that much Victory, haha.
Seriously, I'd be surprised if you got $15 for the base set. Maybe $7-10 each on the insert sets? Tough to say, but I'm sure it won't be too much.
ETA:
I just looked at the BVs. They seem QUITE high for what I would actually expect from them. But hey, I've been wrong before...

Yeah there are a couple of them that do respectably well. A Crosby can go for up to 5 bucks on a good day. Between him, Price, and Ovechkin, plus a few others, there's probably some value but I don't know exactly where to cap it off. I was thinking $25 per set (50c per card) since the dead weight in the set would offset the handful of cards people actually want. Never easy to figure these things out, which is probably why I put it off for so long. LOL

Well, I see a 1-200 base set went for $15, which I find surprising. $25 per set seems to be the consensus on Ebay for those, but they don't seem to sell.

Interesting. My set has the RC's too (not the update from UD2) so that's probably worth a few extra bucks if I can find the cursed thing. There's a couple other sets I know I have floating around but, arrrgh I hate unpacking boxes. LOL
