Different colored sharpie for an auto - any premium?

Probably a stupid question but has anyone experienced a card bringing a premium if it was signed in a different colored sharpie than the norm? Just got a 10-11 Ryan McDonagh Pinnacle RC Auto today and he used a green sharpie for this one and i've only ever seen blue for this card. Idk how many are signed in green, but if there were only a few, would there be any premium on it? Obviously it wouldn't be substantial, but it seems like one of those things player collector's would go nuts over lol

I think it falls under the same category as a jersey numbered cards. They may add a bit of value, but unlikely anything to go nuts over.

Surprisingly, yes, it will. They did something similar to that with Certified in the first year of release as well. Hall, Seguin, Eberle, and perhaps a couple others had 5-10 copies signed in green ink and I think they usually added a "Go ...." inscription too. They were going for a good 15-20% premium at the time.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I personally think it is cool and would pay a premium for it.

Yep, they even did it this year as well with certified.
