Question what would you rather pull

ok lately i have been in a pretty bad pack, box breaking slump, here is my question what would most of you guys, gals rather pull something from your pc file or a top dollar card of someone you don,t collect the reason i am asking is i am thinking of just picking up single cards i like off of ebay and saving myself from having a bunch of common cards lying around ,but i also like the thrill of busting wax and bam there,s that money card of your favorite player nothing like that rush any suggestions on how to combine the both without going broke thanks for your replies in advance take care spuds

Same reason I buy boxes. Just to be able to think, man a X (variable player)'s rookie card might be in here. Same time since I have never really pulled anything great, you do get pretty bummed when all you get is junk.

I'd much rather pull a sweet high end card that I don't collect, becuase I can sell it and buy many cards for the PC. I'm not big into "high end" stuff for my PC, I just don't get paying $200 for an auto of someone, when I can pay like $25-50 and still get the same persons auto.

I used to only buy boxes, and an occaisional single here and there. Now I'm completely the opposite. I can't stand spending over $100 on wax, and getting a $40 card!!!
I love the rush too, but after a 2 month spree of blowing $600-700 and seeing very little high end cards, I quit buying boxes so much. I used to get 4-6 boxes a month, now maybe 1 or 2 tops. I only bust good stuff like SP authentic, or SPX now, none of the garbage boxes.
It just makes more sense for me to buy the singles, I feel much better!

    PC > Top Dollar.

Although it's always nice to get a top dollar card and then sell it with the funds going to PC.

I totally agree with this line of thinking.
