2 Boxes MOT - Please someone stop me....

The LCS is sold out of MMA but decided to bring in a couple of cases of MOT. With a reasonable price (at least compared to KO and Finest!) I had to go for a couple. My luck with this stuff has been miserable in general, other than my classic "1 pack 1 hit" moment with a GSP auto redemption in it.

    Here we go...

    Box 1:

Short Print: Velasquez vs Lesnar Base Card parallel (these are criminally underpriced! I'd imagine there are around 250 of each, like the 2010 nickname parallels?)
    Notable Gold: Cormier RC
Onyx: 2 names I cannot be bothered to recall.
    Dual Gear: Shields & Kampmann
    Mat Relic: Jon Jones
    Autograph: Anthony Johnson

And so this is my fundamental issue with this product. What they call "hits" are non-numbered cards that generally sell for a buck or less. The autograph is a gigantic crapshoot that usually ends like this, with a fighter that is no longer in the UFC (current winning streak aside...)

    Box 2:

Short Print: Florian RUBY 4/8 (SOLD), Brock & Mir Collision Course Onyx /88
Notable Gold: Cyborg RC, Ryan Couture RC
Onyx: Arianny & Ricardo Lamas RC (the Lamas goes straight into PC!)
Dual Gear: Marquardt & Miller (the Nate shirt swatch has barb wire on it! Neat.)
    Mat Relic: Pettis Onyx /88
    Autograph: Akiyama

A lot of serial numbering in this one, and the Florian was kinda cool, but again... I'm throwing money away here.
On a side note, I started out needing 65 cards for this tough set. In box 1, I added 12 measly cards, and in box 2, 10 more. I was hoping for way more set fillers.

In conclusion - I need to stop buying this product. All cards FT/FS and some are already up on eBay.

Yeah, I love the look of the MoT cards, but just not a lot of value unless you get really lucky on your auto. I might be able to help you out with your set though as I've bought a few MoT boxes. Let me know which ones you need and I'll see what dupes I have. I think I still need some to complete my set as well, I'll have to check.

If you still need base cards, let me know. I have probably 5-10 of each card

Looking to make another deal with you, Just received prior lot and could not be happier. What are you looking to get for Akiyama auto? I also bought a box of MOT today and my auto was Condit (so not too bad), and a dual relics of Spider and Sonnen. Looking for any other inserts you might have as well.

    Thanks again,
    Jon

Jon - glad you're happy! But you really cleaned me out so I'm working on new lots. I do have a lot of MOT insert so I can send you the list for those, and I'll let you know about AKiyama. Also have some relics lying around too that I just found...bones, pettis, etc. I'll pm you tomorrow.
