Went to U of Denver after being drafted .The guy is a around point a gamer at every level he's played. The Isles have only let him play 7 games. Are the Isles that good that they wont even give a guy like that a chance. Is there a story that runs deeper.Last edited by dornhoffer; 10-12-2012 at 06:48 PM.

I like Rakhshani, I had a small RC PC of him for a bit.
Undersized, decent scorer, played for the US at the WJs once or twice. The Isles have actually needed to carry more veteran players for their lower lines the last couple years to help them reach the salary floor, so cheaper, younger guys like Rakhshani don't have the opportunity to make it.
He actually signed in Sweden prior to the lockout, so he's there for the full year.

The islanders let him go from what it seems like after his ELC ran out. I remember them bringing him up last season and he wound up with a concussion right away.
