Anyone Send Signed Items to PSA/DNA or JSA??
Just wondering if anyone on here uses this consistently, or has used it. Just picked up a Tim Horton cut auto that I want to get done when it arrives but have never used either. Also if u do more than one item is there discounts? Also give me experiences u have had with either company and timelines of getting your item back.
Thanks! Andrew

You're paying someone a substantial amount of money for an opinion when you use these authenticators, who have all had negative issues in the past by the way. The truth is they don't know for sure if it's real, how could they unless they witnessed it being signed themselves? I personally think these guys are a scam, and would never pay for them to authenticate anything. Not everyone has that opinion, but as someone who's been around the business for years, and is very good friends with the owner at Frozen Pond, I do know a little on the subject of autographs. You'd be much better off posting a scan of your cut auto on here, and on HI, and get opinions from true collectors who'd know what a Horton auto is suppose to look like. Maybe ask Dr Price to take a peak at it? Horton autos are scarce, so if you have the real deal you made a good score. I'd love to see it!

I guarantee its legit, after a few messages back and forth with the guy and comparing to all other signatures I could find its def the real deal. His auto fluctuates a bit from auto to auto but the stick out letters u can always see are the same. For the price I'm very happy.

That looks pretty similiar to some of the ones I've seen. If you are flipping it to make a profit, then having PSA, or another company authenticate could get you more money for it should it pass, but if you are keeping in your PC, I wouldn't have it done, although it would be nice to have it slabbed, and protected. It sure would be interesting to have the story behind that particular one. I always like hearing about how the signature was obtained originally. A good, legitamate story can sometimes help figuring out if it's real, or not.
