    Ebay problem with seller

I have an Ebay problem with a seller. I figured SCF members could give good advice.

I ordered a set of 2012 Panini Americana cards 1-125. The listing states: "2012 Americana Heroes & Legends Complete Set 125" and "This auction is for 2012 Panini Americana Heroes & Legends Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush,........... basic trading cards complete set". I only received 9 cards that were in a scan. The seller is in Hong Kong, feedback of more than 47000, and does not accept returns. I contacted the seller asking for a refund because I only received 9 cards instead of the complete set of 125. Waiting for a response. It wouldn't make sense for me to send them back and pay for shipping anyway because the price was $8.

I'm guessing I will have to file a buyer protection claim with Ebay. How should I proceed, and what are the steps involved? What are my chances of getting my money back? Only $8, but still... Thanks.

Wait a couple days and if the seller doesn't respond, just submit a claim with eBay. State that the item did not match the description, you have attempted to contact the seller, the seller has given no response, and you're set. eBay will give the seller a few days to respond, and if they don't then eBay will refund you your money since the other member has made no attempt to contact you to resolve the issue. I've done it a few times. They will always side with the buyer. No worries.

I am assuming this is you

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ronald-Reaga...item4d054d7a7d

The issues you have is he does not care if you leave a neg

His shipping costs were under 2.00, he charged 7.00,ebay got .70, so he is still getting 5.00 for 9 cards.
Now, he may resolve it, but I no longer buy from Asia due to their practices in listing and shipping as a precaution

The seller responded within a few hours with a full refund and an apology. I am completely surprised. :)
