Yesterday Dwight Howard made his debut in a Lakers uniform. In thirty three minutes he scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. He also chipped in 4 blocks and 2 assists.

Amare Stoudemire will miss between 2-3 weeks with a cyst behind his left knee. This is the same knee that he had micro fracture surgery on back in 2005. He is likely to miss the start of the season.

Stephen Curry will be sidelined the remainder of the preseason after he suffered a sprained right ankle against Portland Friday night. Coach Marc Jackson says it is just a precaution and no reason for Curry to risk future damage during the preseason.
