Luongo to the Leafs?
Not even an NHL lockout can fully kill the Roberto Luongo trade rumors.
Having been linked throughout the summer to the Florida Panthers, speculation has recently sprung up suggesting Luongo will be headed to the Toronto Maple Leafs instead, perhaps soon after the NHL lockout is over.
The chatter began on Oct. 18, when Sportsnet's John Shannon stated his belief that a trade sending Luongo from Vancouver to Toronto was “all but done” and was merely awaiting the implementation of a new collective bargaining agreement.

If that's the deal, I'm all for it! Luongo for Bozak and fillers? Done! John Shannon is the kind of guy I generally take more seriously than most as well, but I will still wait until it's official before I believe it.

I'll take any deal for him :) It's all depending upon the new CBA as far as salary wise, but Komiserak and Kadri for Luongo sounds good to me. We get your big signing mistake for ours :D

Luongo probably comes with a willingness of the Canucks to pay half or more of his salary. You may not have to give up much in return.

Not sure Luongo would even want to come to Toronto. If he can't take the heat in Vancouver how is he going to take it in Toronto where the media will be in his face 24/7 when he does not perform

It's just a bad here in Vancouver, if not worse. The media was practically in the same toilet stall as him whether or not he was actually playing.
We have plenty of third line plugs. Canucks will be asking for more than Bozak.

Luongo was blamed for everything. This led me to believe that Vancouver Canuck fans don't really have a clue about how Hockey is played.
Canucks were bullied off the Cup, and Bieksa was a one-man team in trying to defend the nonsense and the disappearing act. How are Bieksa and Luongo responsible for Pansy Play? I ask you that.......
