Question on buying boxes
I am going to go to the EXPO on the Friday and will probably take a couple of hundred to spend on boxes. My question is should I buy boxes or just singles I need of game used cards. If buying box/boxes what is the best 12/13 to buy or should I buy 10/11 11/12 boxes. Any info would help in my decision.
Thanks in advance.

Keep in mind that buying the right boxes at the expo might land you an extra redemption card from one of the companies...

all depends if you prefer the thrill of gambling on buying boxes or packs, or simply buying exactly what you want for fairly cheap on ebay if your patient. I prefer the latter, although at the same time will never pull a sick 1/1 or whatever...I did break my habit and tried 4 packs of 12/13 artifacts and got nada, so out of frustration bought the last pack in the box and pulled a jagr/125...neat card, but not worth $50!

Depends, buying boxes is a crap shoot can get a big hit but also can get destroyed. While buying singles get you what you really want.

You can help answer that question yourself by telling everyone what you want the most from your boxes. If you are a long time fan of either Montreal or Toronto you can't go wrong with the Forever Rivals plus ITG has some of the nicest redemptions. If you would like to get a patch card in your break the Artifacts is a pretty good suggestion. If you don't like risk and what to get some hits for your money you might want to get the Certified. If you don't have a clear preference then visit the three company websites where you can see the cards for yourself and decide on their visual appeal.
