Depends on if Obama was allowed to influence it again. Either way, if comes back as anything but a drop in unemployment then it is irrelevant. Obama putting a feather in his cap because unemployment is finally back down to where it was when he took office is one of the more ignorant things I have seen a politician ever do.
Oh, and a prediction, I think it goes up. Not much, maybe .2 or .3%

wow Daune
you are unreal...
and I would say that is a Conservative was in the White for the last 4 years
We would be in the an economic cycle that would have made the Great Depression look like a frat party
And it is ignorant of anyone to think otherwise

I work in finance, dude. Obama didn't influence jack all squat. I had a good laugh with someone at Goldman Sachs after they readjusted the July and August numbers last month about people who think Obama has any influence whatsoever. That's the thing. If there's bad news about the economy, it's all Obama's fault. If there's good news, he's making it up. You're better than that, my friend.
Per October's report, economists are saying this report could be fairly positive, as there are particularly good trends in construction and retail.

Totally disagree. I would have trusted McCain to deal with it just as well. People seem to believe the President wields a massive influence over the economy. He doesn't. If John McCain were elected in 2008, I think we'd still be staring at a similar economy.

Sorry Kurt i dont..
Would he and the GOP Bail out the Auto Industry? Or the Banks? They would have made deep deep cuts into every social program there is. NONE of the Unemployment benefits would have been extended at all. How many more homes would have been foreclosed upon? Only part I see the same is the debt would have most likely been the same. All of Obama work soften a great deal of that. I can go point by point but in the end there is no way you or anyone else really could provide enough information to change that thought.

Dang, beat me to it.
FYI, I was being facetious about Obama influencing the numbers. However I was serious about what I said about the feather in the cap thing.

Thank goodness, I can breathe easier knowing that your sensibility remains intact. Way too many people actually think he fudged the numbers.
