    BGS grading help

    Hey guys,

I am looking to send some cards into Beckett for grading. I'm having troubles figuring out what is the optimal, or most viable, way to send in cards?

I've never done this before so if anyone could direct me to a video that explains this, or could post up a video of it, that would be great.

    thanks for your time,

    Mike

Also, I am mostly looking to send thinner cards like young guns, and spa fwa's, but I am also interested in submitting cup ARPs, spa fwaps etc.

How would the packaging be done on these thicker cards?

Use soft sleeves and toploaders of appropriate thickness. There are 130pt soft sleeves available.

First note of knowing if a card is worth to send to BGS: 1) check all corners on both sides and they must be all sharp. Slightest imperfection will cost you 0.5 on grading for each one and no more than two for a shot at 9.5+. 2) check the edges on both sides. 3) check the surface on both sides.

And of course, only bother sending rookie cards.
