All the uber liberals like the ones in Massachusetts are already raising $$ for Warren to run for president in 2016 just like they did the day after the 2004 Democrat convention for Barack Obama.

Unfortunately, Christie's weight/health will be an issue working against any presidential bid he may want to make.

Hardcore republicans might have animosity towards him for praising obama. I dont think it was a big factor, but there were some theories that he did it on purpose so hed be able to run in 2016 (I dont think he did that either)

Wow I didn't see any of the names from any side that stood out. I already know that the all republicans who were mentioned save for Rubio are pure garbage. I don't know that much about Rubio and can't really get to excited about him since most of the republicans on here like him and I'm sure that the things they like about him are things that I dont but I will do my do research on him and give him a fair shake. As far as dems go, I do not like hillary so she will not get my vote. The rest of the dems I am not too familiar with them so I will have to research them too. It's just too bad that Ron Paul will probably be too old to run and Dennis Kuchinnich will probably not run either in 2016. Where are all the moderate canidates that appeal to a broad spectrum of people? If the 2016 election were today and I had to chose from the names mention my vote would go to Gary Johnson.

Rubio is socially moderate and fiscally conservative.

Socially moderate won't cut it anymore.
I'm hoping for Rand Paul to make a run. He's not as libertarian as Ron, but I'd like to see what he brings to the table.

I think it's funny that everyone is saying the GOP needs a more moderate candidate. I think this is the opposite of the truth. The last two elections we have settled for moderate conservatives (yes Mitt is moderate), look how that turned out. I think the nation would have rallied behind a Paul or a Santorum way more than Romney. They wouldn't have let Obama hammer them on social issues like Romney did. I think they would have showed why they believe what they believe on abortion and other social issues and attacked Obama on his stances, something Romney failed to do.

The problem is the Republicans put up a moderate candidate and then turn him into a hard line conservative. They've done it twice in a row. Romney and McCain didn't lose because they're too moderate, they lost because their party turned them into puppets that didn't even resemble the men they used to be. If Republicans let their candidates run as themselves they'd see a lot more support because they'd be less ridiculous.
